While he tries to coax the economy into producing more jobs with one hand, Obama has set in motion an inexorable process that will lead to more economic contraction.

Unfortunately, the country seems destined to follow the same course in the current slump as it did in the 30s.

Behind  a simplistic   presentation of the global competition, we must remark different economic approaches in the US and  Europe taking into account the growing role of China.
